Prakish is the funniest of all. He is quite bald, and u can see the shape of his hair as letter "M" on his forehead. So, they were making fun of him. They say..if he is an animal, what would he be? They said, "M" is definitely for "Monkey"! How evil rite? Prakish said he's gona put some fertilisers on his head to grow some hair..hehe..

Deanne is as new as me..We came in just last week. She's a sweet girl too..and the both of us go thru the training attachments together. We always meet up at the ladies locker room to do our hair. She said we meet up in the locker. Then I said..I dun wan to go into the locker and wait for her..hehe..

Letchu is always saying he is not married. Sonia always say that my colleagues and I shd put more makeup..and Letchu was like saying " Yah, that's wad I thought so. U see I also got put makeup but u cnt see..because I'm too dark."

Don't let me go -

I am finally settled down at my job. I've quit Luxasia officially on the 22nd of march 2008, after working for a period of 3 years since 2005.

I'm currently working at the Ritz Carlton hotel, and I'm still under their 3 months orientation programme. I just been thru their 2 days of orientation and I felt so happy to have dined at their greenhouse restaurant..coz its buffet is really nice!! My god..the sashimi were fantastic!! They were thick enough that u can bite on them and let the freshness of the sashimi twirl in ur tastebuds!! Back to reality, from the 2nd day onwards, I dined at the canteen. Well Well..sounds quite bad huh? But its nice too!! Its complimentary, and I get to choose my foods, its mixed vegetables rice basically. They do have specials sometimes, like chicken cutlet rice. And I can have free flow of drinks, salads (Gd for felicia), desserts, muffins, breads..etc. Only thing is: Clear ur own plate.

Although its only been the forth day..but i really like the job here. It has a good company culture, and everyone is so friendly to each other. The company also takes care of the workers' benefits. I'm working as the guest relations officer, which at most times I have to engage the guests. I guess I really have a long way to go..coz I've been trying to find conversation topics to take to the guests. =( But I would sae its definitely a good learning experience. =)

I'm so lucky, 2nd day of work and I was told to go for department meeting. Thank god it wasn't too bad..I think its because the colleagues here are really funnie. They joke and joke..and it was more like a party instead of a mtg. Hee! I am again lucky because they are gg to have a chalet soon..which they had nt have a gathering for ages..and I juz joined them! Next wk onwards I will be going round the different dpts in the hotel for training. I'm so worried abt it..wonder hw it will be like..especially at housekeeping..*.*..

My supervisor, Sonia is very very very strict abt grooming. She kept saying my hair is messy even after I have bunned my hair and use alot of hairspray. She also said I dun look like I put on makeup though I choked my face with layers and layers of foundation. Oh well, from now on, I shall learn from the chinese opera performers. Duh.

Don't let me go -

My last day of presentation in Temasek Polytechnic was on my major project. The major project was titled, " To develop a business plan and set up an in-house cafe in TP". It was a good learning experience learning how to set up a cafe from scratch, especially with helpful guidance from Mr Lau, who is never selfish is teaching us the traits of managing a cafe. Just for ur info, he is the son of one of the four chefs that created the famous dish that is always eaten during new year, Yusheng. =)
